Booking Conditions
 
All bookings made and accepted are subject to the terms set out in these conditions:
 
1/ Payment and Confirmation
All bookings must be made on the form provided and must be accompanied by a deposit of 30% of the total amount. Payment is only accepted in Swiss Francs. We accept all credit cards or you can pay via wire transfer to our Swiss account. We do also accept payment in Sterling and cheques are made payable to Ski Freedom Sàrl.
The full price of the holiday must be paid to SKI FREEDOM at least eight weeks prior to departure. The client who signed the booking form shall be liable for full payment for all passengers to whom the form applies and for any other person that Ski FREEDOM is subsequently requested to book.
In the event that SKI FREEDOM has received the deposit from the client but does not receive the balance of the payment at least 8 weeks prior to departure, SKI FREEDOM reserves the right to cancel the booking and cancellation charges will apply as set out below, and shall not be limited to the amount of the deposit paid.
For bookings made within 8 weeks of departure, the holiday is confirmed once verbal confirmation is given over the telephone; and full payment for the holiday, including insurance premiums must be made immediately.
 
2/ No Surcharge Guarantee
The price of your holiday is fully guaranteed and will not be subject to any surcharges. The prices listed are in Swiss Francs and are quoted per accommodation per week.
 
3/ Cancellation of Holiday
A cancellation by a client will only be effective when notification has been received in writing by SKI FREEDOM. SKI FREEDOM reserves the right to levy a cancellation charge. 
If cancellation is prior to 8 weeks before departure, the deposit will be forfeited. 
Within 8 weeks of departure the following rates of forfeit shall apply:
Less than 8 weeks 30% of total
Less than 4 weeks 50% of total
Less than 2 weeks 90% of total
Less than 1 week 100% of total
Departure date or after 100% of total
If no written notice of cancellation is received and the client does not travel, cancellations will be deemed to have been received on the day of departure. 
SKI FREEDOM reserves the right to resell any part of the cancelled holiday, and this shall in no way alter their right to levy cancellation charges.
SKI FREEDOM reserves the right, in any circumstances to cancel your holiday. Compensation will not be paid for alterations caused by wars, riot, strikes, terrorism, natural disaster, fire, technical problems to transport, closure or congestion of airports, adverse weather conditions, or insurance. It is a condition of bookings that all clients must take the insurance arranged by SKI FREEDOM, unless they have arranged their own policy which must provide comparable or greater cover under all sections.
 
4/ Liability
All clients undertake to behave in such a manner as in no way to cause damage, distress, danger or annoyance to other clients, property and/or any third party. The contract of any client in breach of this clause shall be terminated forthwith and SKI FREEDOM shall have no further contractual obligations. All damages and breakages will be charged to the client and must be paid before vacating the premises. SKI FREEDOM reserves the right to levy a deposit if necessary, in order to cover the cost of any possible breakages or damage. SKI FREEDOM accepts no responsibility for the action of clients and shall not be held liable for any claim made against them (or as a result of their actions) by a third party.
 
5/ Insurance
We require that you and each person accompanying you on a Freedom Tour has adequate medical and travel insurance. You agree that you will provide us on demand with all relevant details of such insurance and evidence that such insurance is in effect. We reserve the right to cancel your Freedom Tour forthwith if you fail to do so.
 
6/ Governing Law
This contract is subject to Swiss law and the courts of Switzerland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
